The longread editor was rebuilt
What changed on June 4: the longread editor was rebuilt around blocks, author actions, and careful motion.
Why it matters
On June 4, much of the work centered on the longread editor. Blocks now respond more clearly to context, and author actions sit closer to the place where someone writes.
Formatting is easier to notice and easier to dismiss: hints appear where they are useful, while media blocks avoid extra controls they do not need.
Motion and accessibility were checked separately. When someone uses reduced motion, the editor should remain understandable without visual noise.
