A publishing error shouldn't mean starting over
Improvements to post and Story drafts make it easier to continue after a publishing error.
Why it matters
You've picked your photos, written your text, and tapped Publish. Then the connection drops. September's update improves how post and Story drafts are saved and how publishing can be retried.
An upload error shouldn't discard what you've prepared. If a previous attempt has an unknown outcome, Lets checks it before creating another post. Retrying keeps the materials already prepared.
If an original photo or video is no longer available on the device, the editor explains what's missing and offers a way to restore the media while keeping your other edits. Drafts stay on the device and belong to your account; this update doesn't add transfer between phones.
These improvements are included in closed beta 0.1.2. They address specific failures, not a promise that drafts survive uninstalling the app or clearing its data.
